Neighborhood blogs are picking up a developing story about an individual barricading himself in a home near Gale St-15th St NE. The police have taped off some blocks in the neighborhood but are letting individuals get to their homes. There may be traffic congestion-confusion-street closures in this area until the situation is resolved.

It seems like the "situation" was resolved around/before 7pm last night. Still not sure exactly what happened but thankfully it was nothing worthy of the nightly news.
