The 6-foot by 30-foot “Cornerstones of History” mural was created in concrete terrazzo by the artist Stephen Weitzman. It depicts and honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Duke Ellington and Bessie Smith.
The "Cornerstones of History" mural should be installed in the new Starburst Plaza hopefully this week. The eight mural panels were brought on site last Wednesday, September 15.
