Hi everyone,
Just a little update on Cafe Roma, the coffee shop/bakery coming to
18th and D. I passed by there Sunday afternoon, and saw the owners
working on their storefront. They invited me inside, and it looks
great! You walk in, and there is a nice, long display counter on the
left where they will have all their baked goods. On the right side
are small tables, and as you keep going, the back splits into two
levels (loft style), both of which have additional seating. It really
is quite nice inside. I didn't have my camera with me, but I will try
to stop by soon and take a photo.
They are planning on opening in mid-February, just waiting on permits.
