There is a serious threat to Rosedale's community identity and pride!
A group from outside our neighborhood, without even engaging our community, is seriously attempting to change the name of our new "Rosedale Community Center and Library". Rosedale has been a District neighborhood for over a century, our past and future lie in the Rosedale Community Center's identity.
Please attend tonight's meeting from 7:00-9:00pm at Miner Elementary School, located at 601 15th Street NE, to voice your opposition to change the generations old "Rosdale Recreation Center" to "Reginal Ballard Recreation Center".
