Advisory: Nationals Shuttle Buses

It appears there are two additional "conflict" route days the Nationals' parking shuttle buses will have to using residential neighborhood streets to transport fans from RFK Stadium to Nationals' Ballpark, due conflicts with DC United games. Refer to the Post "Nationals' Shuttle Buses use Neighborhood Route" for specific streets used along the route through Kingman Park, Rosedale, Hill East and Capitol Hill.

Below is an advisory email from DDOT's Damon Harvey:

Everyone:

Good afternoon and please be advised that on:

1. Saturday, August 30, 2008: Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals @ 7:10pm

2. Wednesday, September 3, 2008: Philadelphia Phillies vs. Washington Nationals @ 7:10pm

The Washington Nationals will use the alternate 17th Street, SE route for RFK Shuttle Services. These are the only two ‘conflict days’ left this season where the RFK Shuttle buses will use 17th Street, SE. If anything changes or additional dates have to be added (due to inclement weather) I will make sure to alert everyone on this email.

As always, please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you to everyone who has contacted me and/or provided me with updated information regarding this matter!

Warm regards,

Damon Harvey (DDOT, damon.harvey@dc.gov)
