The D.C. Council's Public Works and Transportation Committee will hold a public hearing on the DC Streetcar System Plan on Wednesday, November 17 at 2:00 pm. This is a first step toward the Council approving DDOT's streetcar plan so it can receive $34.5 million and remain on schedule to begin streetcar service on the H Street-Benning Road line by spring 2012, HERE are additional details.
Streetcar supporters are needed to testify in support of this streetcar plan so that DDOT can receive the crucial funds it needs to complete the H Street-Benning Road line on schedule.
