Please join Department of Parks & Recreation and Office of Public Education Facilities Modernization for an update on the new Rosedale Community Center and Library.
When: Thursday, May 27th at 6:30pm
Where: Gibbs Elementary School (shuttered), 500 19th St NE. Entrance on E Street just off the corner 19th and E Streets (look for wooden ramp approach to side door)
The community update meeting will include current design layouts and proposed programming. The community is encouraged to attend and ask questions.
HERE is what the Rosedale Community Center and Library design and site plans looked like back in September 2009 just before Mayor Fenty's ground-breaking ceremony.

Any update on what was discussed at this meeting?
RCA has asked DPR for overview plans and a construction time-line, we'll post when it becomes available...stay tuned!
