Reminder: Donations to RCA's Thanksgiving Basket are needed by this Sunday @ 3:30PM!

RCA's Outreach Committee is assembling a Thanksgiving Basket to donate to a needy Greater Capitol Hill family this Thanksgiving season. RCA will distribute the basket through the Capitol Hill Group Ministry's Thanksgiving Basket Program. We plan on assembling the items in a pull-cart basket, for shopping, as an additional gift.

Please consider donating 1 or more of the following items. You can drop off donations at Cafe Roma (411 18th Street, NE, 202.652.1693) until Sunday, November 16 @ 3:30PM; a donation box is placed by the door.

3 - boxes of macaroni & cheese
2 - cans of string beans
2 - cans of yams or fresh equivalent
2 - boxes of stuffing
2 - boxes of mash potatoes or 1 bag of rice
2 - cans of cranberry sauce
2 - onions
1 - box of bisquick or muffin mix
1 - box of cake mix & frosting mix
1 - $20 Safeway gift card to purchase meat of choice
