Langston G.C. Mini-Golf Putting Course Event This Sunday!
Come on out to Langston Golf Course for the Langston Mini-Golf Putting Course Event on Sunday, July 19 from 9am to 11am. You can test your skills on a challenging course setup on Langston’s Tour-style putting area. Prizes will be awarded for the best score and for scores that “Beat the Pro” score. Entry fee is only $5 and includes a basket of range balls so you can practice your full swing after putting. It’s a great event for the whole family.
And after your round at the course, stop by Langston Bar & Grille for some great local southern comfort food and cool libations! Langston Bar & Grille, 1831 Benning Rd, is located just a few short blocks west of the Langston G.C. on Benning Road and is open Sunday for brunch.

Do we know if this is a fundraiser or just a fun event? It sounds like a good time either way... perhaps we'll attend!
that's a good question, kinda sound like it, but I don't know for sure.
If you have a chance Karen, contact Jimmy Garvin, Langston's General Manager (jgarvin@golfdc.com or 202.397.8638). If you do, let us know what you find out. thanks

Hey y'all! I just called...
The mini-golf course is NOT a fundraiser, but it is just a fun event for folks. It is open to the public.
This is a "BYOP" event (bring your own putter...if you have one). I would think they have ones you can borrow.
But for $5? That sounds like a deal!
Karen
thanks Karen for the info. Yeah it does sound like a good deal considering a buck of driving range balls is included too...
