Basically, one person on each block keeps an eye on things and reports any untoward activity to the police. We can talk about it on Sunday. See you then!Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14314575279701902022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3984220645852891678.post-22687385642944425982008-07-20T14:39:00.000-04:002008-07-20T14:39:00.000-04:00Has RCA considered organizing an Orange Hat group ...Has RCA considered organizing an Orange Hat group that would focus on the area surrounding 15th and F? I've been to a couple of RCA meetings, but I don't recall anything about safety walks. Or possibly working with the managements of the apartment buildings in this area to set up walks of their buildings and common areas? My neighbors and I have a practice of just avoiding these streets, even though they're only a block or two away. Perhaps that is the wrong way to handle this and a bigger presence by the community would be better.

PS I'd like to attend more RCA meetings, but my job requires me to work evenings sometimes, and it always seems to coincide with the monthly meeting.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17442270747927257235noreply@blogger.com
